Project Overview

​The problem: A mid-size organization identified a growing concern: many employees lacked the confidence and skills to recognize and respond to phishing threats in the workplace. Despite basic awareness training, staff frequently overlooked subtle warning signs or failed to take appropriate action, putting sensitive company data at risk. A needs analysis revealed that existing training was overly generic, passive in format, and disconnected from employees’ daily digital workflows.

The solution: I proposed a gamified, self-paced eLearning module designed using Articulate Storyline. The course incorporates interactive simulations, decision-based branching, and embedded feedback to mirror real-world phishing scenarios employees might encounter. By aligning with adult learning theory and leveraging authentic workplace examples, the training boosts both engagement and knowledge retention.
